The Baga are originating in the center of Guinea. Driven out at the 18th century by the Fulani ones Islamized. In the village live heads of the family, the Masters of the religion as well as the guards of the tradition who exert within associations or fraternities of age. The baga have the characteristic of a large gerontocracy.
