The Ogoni people are one of native-born people living in the State de Rivers in the south of Nigeria. The Ogoni people made known themselves with the international level after the protest campaign against the oil company Shell. The MOSOP (MOvement for the Survival of the Ogoni People) is a movement defender of the Ogoni people directed until 1995 by Ken Saro-Wiwa, who was at the origin of several demonstrations.
